Memory Wall Program
Purpose
The purpose of the GSSDA Annual Memory Wall is to recognize and remember those square dancers who have passed away during the last 24-36 months.
Memorials of these individuals will be displayed at the GSSDA Annual Convention. They are to be displayed on what will be called the GSSDA Memory Wall at the annual GSSDA Convention.

Guidelines for Submission
-
Memorials shall be submitted to the Memorial Wall Coordinator by the established deadline.
-
Memorials shall be in the form of an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet (suitable for framing) that should prominently display the name of the individual, pictures and a brief square dance history of the deceased dancer. This should not read like a typical obituary but more upbeat. An explanation of how he/she enjoyed square dancing is encouraged.
-
Memorials may be submitted by fellow square dancers, friends or community members. Please include in your email (but not necessarily in the memorial), the name and contact information of the author.
-
Submissions should be in pdf format and submitted to the Program Coordinator two (2) weeks before the State Convention.
